When Flamenco Organic Coffee Co. was founded in 2005, they knew that there was a balance between sourcing high-quality beans and appealing to the regular coffee drinker. Since then, the Minneapolis-based roastery continues to offer one of the largest selections of organic-certified coffee in the country. But finding the beans is just the beginning; they patiently roast small batches one at a time with a painstaking attention to detail. Their single origin and blended coffees are designed for every level of consumption. Between optimally roasting each bean to their potential and optimally brewing each drop, it is obvious that the roasters want you to recognize their efforts.
Roasters Jesse Grote and Alan Erbach are dedicated to forming relationships with the farmers they purchase their beans from. Many of the coffees they source are also Fair Trade certified, Rainforest Alliance participants, and involved with Cafe Femenino, a program committed to the social justice of women involved with coffee production. Conscientious sourcing and positive environmental impact has been a focal point for Flamenco Organic since conception. Heck, their three roasting machines run on up to 30% solar energy!
Despite all the buzz words surrounding the industry, the fellas at Flamenco Organic just wants you to drink the best coffee you’ve ever had. Not everyone is necessarily concerned with who or what or where their coffee comes from; any way you slice it, you can rely on Flamenco Organic Coffee Co. for all of your coffee-inspired needs!
