Wisconsin Restaurant Expo 2012

Yes, it’s that time of year again when the trade shows begin.

We are exhibiting in a couple of them that we would love to invite you to attend.

Our first show of the year is the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo being held in downtown Milwaukee on March 12-14th. That’s a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday show. We have been exhibiting at this show for over 10 years now and will have our usual spot on the floor with a 20 foot end booth. Our Flamenco Organic Coffees will be brewed up for sampling, so please stop by and enjoy some. We will have many other items on display as well including a 2 group espresso machine showcasing our Matador espresso.

The Red Roaster

It’s here and it’s beautiful!

Flamenco Organic now has three Primo roasters!

The red machine is now installed and after some further messing around with air flow and heat we should be good to go.

It was a lot of hard work, but the roastery is looking and will be functioning better than ever!

Special thanks to Eric of McGann for all of his help and expertise with the install.

Dark Vienna Roast

Powerful, yet comforting, beginning with a nose of anise, chocolate bonbons, and bubblegum. Reminiscent in both body and flavor of an oatmeal stout infused with toasted marshmallow. Finishes malty and everlasting.

Ethiopia Harar, Natural Process – Biftu Gemena

Vienna Plus Roast

Semi-dry and semi-sweet, expressing lush red wine and dark chocolate notes through a voluptuous body. Raisin and praline aromas accent the cup, enunciating its stark fruitiness. A creamy finish with a touch of earthiness.

Full City Roast

Expressive and fulfilling, beginning with aromatic design of blueberry muffin, fudge, and Coca Cola. A marvelous, silky smooth body emphasizes dessert-like nuances, including sweet chocolate, cookie dough, and custard. Perfectly balanced and complete.

Mexico Chiapas – Orpae Cooperative, Altura

Vienna Roast

Both consistent and balanced in aroma and profile. The nose introduces caramel de leche and a tease of floral. An exciting sweetness cuts through its milky, voluptuous body. Candied nuts and artificial grape notes are nestled between a mellow acidity, delivering a brilliant and long finale.
